Hello, my name is Larry Logsdon, Founder of The Tahiti Trader Company. I started the company in 1999 with the mission to make a super high-quality, high potency Noni Juice product for the natural food market.
I have been in the nutritional products manufacturing business since 1984 and have gained a lifetime of experience growing up in the business and working with my father, John E. Logsdon. My dad started working in the business in 1950 after he returned from the service and began working for his father Ben E. Logsdon. Grandpa Ben was doing vitamin manufacturing at the time for the medical & professional trade. Grandpa Ben had started as an early pioneer in the nutrition business in 1920 with his groundbreaking work in natural treatments for pernicious anemia.
My dad, like his father, was responsible for many industry innovations, both in the fields of nutrition and pharmaceuticals and set many trends in the natural foods industry.
I envision a future where people all over the world would benefit from the amazing properties of the Noni plant. That future is now.
I began in 1996 making & sharing Noni juice with family and friends, while I worked to develop a marketable product that people would enjoy to drink.
My first Noni juice was made for network marketing companies that were seeking a new and amazing product. I made Noni products for many companies until one day I thought that this product really needs to be available to the public through Natural Foods Stores and normal channels of distribution, everyone should have access to our Noni!
And so, Tahiti Trader Brand Noni was born.
I wanted to position Tahiti Trader Noni in the market so that we would have more potentency, better taste and better retail pricing than other Noni offerings. The high potency & great taste was due to our unique process that improved the bioavailability of the finished product.
I worked to develop a Noni supply line from the islands to the mainland taking only Nonis grown from my network in Tahiti and surrounding islands.
Our Noni grows in dark volcanic soils, and that is not interfered with by man. Our Noni fruit is truly organically grown; and has not been fertilized, or been sprayed for pests, has not been cultivated, it simply grows unimpeded to full maturity in the island paradise of Tahiti & Polynesia.
When our Nonis are fully mature and ripe, we harvest them and place them into cold storage. Then our harvest comes to the mainland where we process the whole fruit into extract; paying careful attention to detail and create the precious juice extract without heat then super concentrating it and combining natural flavors to the Morinda Citrifolia juice so it could come to market. |
